PRESENTATION OF THE PROGRAM |

The Regional Program MATH-Amsud is an initiative of the French cooperation and representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay whose goal is to generate and strengthen regional capacity in South America and its cooperation with France to start networking in the field of research in the field of mathematics, through the introduction of joint projects. Specific Objectives Program MATH-AMSUD 1.- Develop collaboration in the field of mathematics through the exchange of researchers and information among South American countries involved, and between them and France. 2.- Supporting projects of basic and applied research involving regional collaboration between France and at least two Latin American countries associated with the project and containing a potential transfer dimension and technological innovation.
3.- Favoring in South America synergies with other multilateral and regional programs in this area, particularly with the European Union
